I started going to Center Pointe Pilates over a year ago when I was 9 months postpartum. I had never taken pilates before and was hoping I could take a few private lessons to learn the ropes before joining a bigger pilates class. Well, Mel, the owner, is so incredible that I've decided to stay on as a private client instead! I wish I had started with her years ago. It is better than any physical therapy I've ever had. It is an investment in my health and I can't recommend her enough!

I have been taking Pilates with Mel for five years. She is personable and explains things clearly. Her knowledge of the body is impressive. Based on how my body feels that day—any aches or pains—she knows exactly which exercises I should avoid or focus on. She designs the classes to target different muscle groups each week. Over time, she has trained me to be more aware of my body alignment, helping me minimize the risk of injury in daily life. I’ve become much stronger!
