We bought an Altura home in the Heath Golf and yacht club this past October and I wanted to get on here to say that our experience has been fantastic. Buying a home almost always comes with frustrations and this is the 5th home i’ve purchased during my lifetime. Now, no builder is perfect but what I wanted to praise Altura for is the quality of service we’ve received after our purchase. We have had several little things that have had to be fixed, adjusted, or worked on and Altura has jumped on them immediately. They have great people who come out and flat out get it done. Construction Manager came out this morning and did some checking into my concerns. I have yet to find out what the problem is with my HVAC unit overamping but at least I have some clarification that I needed from today's visit.
The rating I’m still etchy on. Can impatience land you in hot water by viewing houses yourself? I’ve seen many homes by Altura that looks too similar by other builders. Why is that? Another thing. It’s extremely weird for a realtor to keep advertising another builder to a customer when that realtor does not work for that other company. Are you working for your company or giving away business to another company? Another thing. The rooms are small especially the rooms with only the toilet in them. Why is that?
