Surgery was successfully but the recommended physical therapy program was not getting the job done. “After shattering the top of my humerus, I had five months of physical therapy at Athletico in Soutlake. My shoulder was basically useless when I began therapy because the break tore the rotator cuff in my shoulder. I opted not to have surgery--which itself is a serious injury from which to recover--and received superlative care at Athletico. Week by week I regained more movement and strength, and now I can do virtually everything I need to do with my arm. Surgery would not have improved this outcome. I was dismissed today with instructions for therapy at home which I will do on my own. I know I can contact them at any time for further help. I highly recommend this place! They are kind and friendly and remember details about each patient, adjusting their care to their particular needs. Excellent care, great staff!“
“I'm a 70 year old gent who leads a fairly active lifestyle exercising, playing golf and taking long walks with my lovely wife. I had some back and neck pain as a result of a rear end accident I had in Nov 2021. I had been to several other physical therapists since then, but they weren't "hands on" and couldn't relieve my chronic pain. Kim Hollaway's therapeutic "hands on" treatment approach was instrumental in relieving the pain I was having. Initially, she did a thorough physical analysis of my range of motion to my affected areas and developed a comprehensive treatment plan that included effective massage, acupuncture and stretching techniques that provided some much needed relief. Kim was extremely professional along with her staff and listened to my pain concerns and adjusted her therapy accordingly. Another BIG positive is she accepts Medicare that covers the expense 100%. I strongly recommend that if you are having some chronic pain that you just can't get to your old self, give Kim a call and set up an appointment to get checked out. It will be a decision you won't regret and you'll be better off for it. Thanks Kim and keep up the great work. I will definitely be coming back to get tweaked if necessary!“
