It was my first time at a drybar salon. I was getting my hair done for my best friend's wedding and was a bridesmaid. I just got a dry styling done. I had to wait a while although I had booked an appointment. I also had to change the way I wanted to do my hair because the original style would have allocated more time and would have been more expensive. I ended up pinning up my hair on my own. The hairstylist I had did a good job but wasn't really something I couldn't do at home. My hair usually doesn't hold curls well but it did hold up all day and night and the products she used were nice. May try to go back and see if I can get a blow out.

Love it! I have 4bish hair and was unsure about going here even though I had seen not 1 but 2 African American ladies with gorgeous hair who said they go to Dry Bar. This place KNOWS what they are doing. Initially, my first time going, my hair did revert, but only bc the stylist used a lower heat setting, in an earnest effort to tend to what she understood were my hair care needs. It was a miscommunication that was quickly corrected with another stylist, next day. And I thoroughly enjoyed having my hair done by both stylists and would go back to either one. Clarissa was fabulous, she was absolutely kind and so gentle with my curly hair which aren’t easy to blow dry, I showed her a photo and told her exactly what I wanted and she did the exact same thing. Highly recommend the salon!
