Dr. Sunny K Tilwani did a bone graft and an osseous and open flap type surgeries on me in 2026 and they were quite successful. I was very scared to do them as I had very negative experience with the same procedures in the past (the procedure failed and/or my own bone got infected). My mouth feels a lot fresher after Dr. Tilwani cleaned root surfaces in the osseous and open flap procedures and applied laser light to help the sanitization and healing process. I can feel the positive difference in my mouth cleanliness in the morning after sleeping all night and the gums are not inflamed. Always on time and the team there are excellent. Going to the dentist is not my favorite thing, but they make it as pleasant as possible when I'm in the chair. I definitely recommend them.
My periodontal surgery today with Dr. Sunny Tilwani and his surgery nurse Jackie went well. I chose the recommended light sedation and it helped tremendously. I felt no pain or anxiety and drifted off.
Dr. Tilwani had explained at my first visit —how my X-rays that showed bone loss and why he recommended surgery.
I also had a deep cleaning prior—to the surgery to help with inflammation. Maria, his hygienist is skilled and considerate in her method. Tiana, in his front office, she is welcoming and thorough.
