Came for a laceration. From the moment I got there the staff was great and very nice. Everyone was on top of it, made the experience great. Dr Richard did a great job with my stitches. Was quick in and out procedure.
Makes me feel good that there’s still doctors out there that care about what they do, you can tell doctors like This are eager to help and love what they do.

Since the switch to Methodist their billing has become rather shady. I’ve been going here for almost a decade and always paid my urgent care fee. My last visit I was billed as an ER visit for a covid and flu test. I also find it shady that they were unable to take my payment at time of visit because “their system” was down. Seems like many people are having problems with shady billing since the switch. Save your money and drive down the road to CareNow

Prescriptions are valid for 1 year for non controlled substsnces. This location issued a prescription in December 2025 and now refuses to amend it to include all required information so it can be filled.

Provider is fantastic, but this refusal is unacceptable. I see other comments about changes since the Methodist name was added. I don't think I'll be coming back. I am pursuing a refund for my visit in December.

UPDATE: I actually received a phone call the Monday morning after this review as well as a follow up after checking the details. Conclusion is that Methodist does not intend to offer a refund because my daughter was seen. I don't see the value in a doctor seeing my daughter, confirming she was sick, and writing a prescription with an error preventing it from being filled, then being unwilling to ammend it. Bottom line is they won't change it because they don't think I should use the prescription. The law says it is fine. You be the judge, but I'm not returning.

We had been going to Legacy Urgent Care for 15 years and had always had great experiences. The staff has consistently been wonderful, and we always felt well taken care of.

However, our last visit in April—after the change to Methodist—completely changed our opinion. We went in for a sprained wrist. An X-ray was done, and we were told that all that was needed was a wrist brace for about a week. There was nothing about this visit that resembled an emergency room situation.

Yet we were billed as if this were an ER visit, with charges totaling over $1,200, and then received an additional bill months later for the wrist brace. We are now being told that our portion alone is over $500. For a sprained wrist and an X-ray, that is beyond unreasonable.

A wrist sprain is not an emergency room visit, and billing it as one feels incredibly misleading and excessive. It is really unfortunate, because we had trusted this office for years and had never had an issue before. But after this experience, we will not be returning.

This clinic billed my urgent care visit incorrectly and their billing department will not respond. Care was fantastic and quick but they engage in misleading practices.

I needed urgent care early in the morning before work and saw this location opened earlier than all other urgent care clinics. I called before coming to confirm they would bill only for urgent care since my visit did not arise to needing to go to an emergency room. Everything about the care was great and efficient. They got me on my way and feeling better. However, I got my bill a week or two later and they billed as an emergency room clinic instead of a regular urgent care visit. Instead of my $50 urgent care co-pay, I was billed for the entire cost of my visit. When I reached out about this, I received no reply to any of my messages. I would NOT recommend unless you actually need emergency level care since they’ll bill you for it anyways.

We had come here for years without issue, but recently my son was seen during regular business hours (1:00 PM on a weekday) for a basic visit. That being said, we just received a bill with charges totaling $787.69 (although insurance has paid a portion of it).

Additionally, we were there for nearly three hours with the vast majority of the time spent waiting to be seen. I will say that the staff was apologetic and explained that they were having trouble with the new system.

While the clinical care was good, the billing experience overshadowed the visit. Patients should be clearly informed that despite advertising itself as an urgent care/ER hybrid, they bill as an ER. Had I understood that beforehand, I would have made a different decision about where to seek care.

Although we have come here for years, we will go elsewhere in the future due to the long waits and what we feel are unfair billing practices.

Lastly, I hate leaving this review. I LOVE leaving positive reviews (check my review history). But, receiving a bill this high for a basic appointment in a facility that advertises itself as an urgent care hybrid, earned this review.

Nothing bad to say about this ER.

This was my absolute favorite urgent care to go to. I took myself and all my kids here whenever we needed something. I went recently after the merger with Methodist and they billed my urgent care visit as an ER visit, so I got a $265 bill. There were not any ER services provided. My son had an ear infection and needed antibiotics. I called Methodist after receiving the itemized statement, and they informed me that it was billed wrong, but she told me that she had to send it over to another team to be corrected, and she “could not give a timeline on the correction because they have received lots of calls about this issue.” I informed her that I was fine with it taking awhile, so long as the bill did not go to collections. She stated to call back if it does. The entire charm of coming to Legacy was not dealing with hospital politics and having a reliable cost for services each time. I’m highly disappointed in the shift to Methodist and despite the wonderful staff, I would no longer recommend going to this location, as the medical billing is not reliable and you may find yourself with a large bill and no timeline to get it corrected.

As an ER nurse who knows how slow ERs can be, I had the best experience here. It took less than 5 minutes to be roomed, and every other aspect of care was just as speedy. Dr. Lutz, nursing staff, registration, and front desk staff were all so kind and compassionate. I felt SO much better after my visit and I am so grateful for everyone I came in contact with here. I would recommend this ER to my friends and family in a heartbeat. Thank you all so much!
