Disappointed with Communication & Front Desk Experience

I recently attempted to schedule an appointment at AymCare and had a frustrating experience. After calling multiple times with no answer, I left a voicemail that was never returned. I then walked in to the office to follow up in person.

Upon arrival, I was told that walk-ins were not accepted and that I needed to call to book — the same phone line that had gone unanswered. When I calmly explained this, the front desk receptionist became defensive, raised her voice, and insisted she always answers calls. Rather than acknowledging the miscommunication, the interaction felt dismissive.

Fortunately, another receptionist stepped in and was incredibly helpful — she kindly assisted me in setting up my appointment without any issue. Her professionalism and patience made a real difference and is the reason I am giving this a second star.

I remained respectful throughout the entire visit and left without escalating the situation. I genuinely hope management uses this as an opportunity to improve phone accessibility, voicemail follow-up, and front desk conflict resolution. Great practices deserve a front door experience that matches the care inside.

14 days for a referral. Can't get medicine needed to stop seizures they said I need to see neurologist. Medication is out. Hopefully my gf doesn't have a seizure and bust her head on the counter or something. Not like this place cares.

The doctors here are excellent, but the front desk experience has been extremely disappointing. Reaching anyone by phone for scheduling is nearly impossible. During one visit, the reception window was closed, lights were off, and when it finally opened, the receptionist was focused on her child instead of assisting patients. When I asked for her name she even closed the window abruptly, . The lack of professionalism and willingness to help ultimately led me to switch doctors.

I want to share my experience with Ayman care… first prior to going I read the reviews and I was a bit anxious! BUT I went in being me and knowing that everyone’s is different and no one has the same shared experience in life! I’ve been seen at the clinic on 3 different occasions, they’ve always been timely, courteous, and accommodating! When I’ve had to call in for whatever reason, I’ve always gotten the help I needed or received adequate follow up responses! NP Reshma, Ms Larue, my prescription coordinator - ALL GAVE TOP NOTCH service!!! I highly recommend this clinic!

At first they were very attentive and were prompt with updating me about my health. However, I have not been able to get in contact with anyone in regards to my medication. This was 3 months ago. Still don’t have any answers in terms of the reason WHY I was not feeling well. Will never return here. Save your money and time and go somewhere where they will actually care about you and your health.

Dr. Catano is good, but I do not recommend her because they never have appointments available, and if you are sick, you have to wait 3 months to be seen.

When I first started seeing them they were very nice and very thorough. Never had any issues until now. I have called and spoke with someone 3 times and left 4-5 voicemails was also seen in the office in January and still have not received my referrals to my specialist. I have out of my medication going on a month because I can’t see my doctor with out the referral to get my refills. This really saddens me because I loved the staff that cared for me when I started coming here but I guess the newer staff don’t care or if it’s the same staff and they’ve lost their touch! I will finding me another provider ASAP!!!!

It’s been a while since I’ve had a horrible experience, that I had to review it. I’ve had high blood pressure, and type 2 diabetes.

I went without health insurance for about two years and couldn’t afford my much needed medications. I was able to find medical coverage, and they put this clinic as my primary. I decided to give it a shot and immediately regretted my decision switching doctors.

First, the doctor was apparently booked out for three months, so they suggested a NP to get my meds sooner. The day of my appointment, I got lost and needed some direction. I call the number, and had to leave a VM. After 15 minutes of waiting for a call back that never came, I found my way to them. There was a guy in the reception area, and he didn’t say a word to me. I signed in, and that’s when he asked for my insurance card and ID. As I waited, it sounded like teenagers hanging out as a female had come into the reception area and sounded like more grab a&@ing than being a doctors office. I started getting a bad feeling about this place. I was walked into a room after 5 minutes, which was impressive. Unfortunately, I waited almost an hour before the NP came in. We talked about my medical history, came up with a plan, and did my labs. Seven days later, she calls me asking to calm her back. I’ve been trying for two days to get someone to respond back to me. They do NOT answer their phone, and so far, do not follow up with voicemails. At this point, I’m moving on and trying to find another office which doesn’t ignore their patients, and someplace where staff is a bit more professional. Very disappointing experience.

Very unprofessional this is the worst medical clinic I've ever been to. The staff is rude and the doctors have no bedside manner. I require a a prescription that I have to take every day for the rest of my life. WebMD and most endocrinologist will only asked me to give blood work twice a year. However this medical clinic wants to have me come in every 3 months to have my prescription refilled so they can get more money for a doctor's visit and also for blood work. They don't ever want to give you the prescriptions you need they won't listen to your symptoms. The facilities are dirty their staff is rude and insulting I would not recommend this clinic

I am always treated well and quickly when I have an appointment. Staff is polite and are always willing to answer question's.
