The two veterinarians we have seen (with two different pets) were competent. The technicians who worked with those vets were competent. That is the end of competency. The front end staff are not competent at all for running a successful clinic. Owners are required to ask for refills 24 hours in advance. After the 24 hours have passed, we assume medications will be ready. We were wrong. First excuse was "There are no technicians to verify the medications." After telling the staff to outright cancel the order, we received a call back a while later saying "The Dr will be in to approve the medication to be filled and you can pick it up in an hour." If you are looking for a vet who listens to your needs and acts on them, look elsewhere. I have been using Creekview for several years but will not be returning. I brought my aged ferret in because I felt that the insulinoma he had been fighting had made his quality of life such that he should be free from it and pass on. I have said goodbye to many pets in my time, who are much closer to my heart than most people. I verified with the tech on the phone prior to arriving that I only needed them to administer the shot to help him sleep and that I would be with him until he passed. So grateful for Creekview Veterinary Clinic in New Braunfels. Dr. Brotze & Dr Doherty have faithfully cared for the pets of 3 generations of our family. Highly recommend. We just had to put down our precious Shiloh and Dr Brotze care and concern for us during this whole ordeal was amazing. So kind. I'm so grateful.
