The Salon would be a 5 star but ,there is one of the braiders that speaks French light skinned , she’s talking about her patrons in French and doesn’t know I speak French too and can understand what she was saying. I felt disrespected. Lillie shouldn’t allow her and the first chair braider to talk about the patrons in French. You never know who can speak French. You never know who understands French . Lillie is the best . The other braider in the back of the shop is good but the French one and the first braider are disrespectful. So for that reason I’ll take my business some where else. I came in requesting a very simple service: a wash and cornrows with no hair added, strictly as prep for a wig install. The stylist who actually did my hair did a fine job no complaints about her work or professionalism.

However, the issue lies with the pricing. For such a basic service, the total came out to $80, which feels extremely excessive and unjustified. There was nothing added, no extensions, no specialty styling, just a wash and straight-back cornrows. At that price point, it comes across less like fair pricing and more like inflated costs, which is disappointing.

It was my first time getting braids and the did a beautiful job.

Requested style: I wasn't sure what I wanted, so I described it and she knew what I wanted. She did a great job.

Stylist: She was very nice. I asked her not to do it so tight, and she didn't.
