After agonizing over a bit of debris in my eye for 3 days, I finally broke down and decided to make a doctor’s appointment. I’m so glad I went with this clinic! Dr. John Deaton is an absolute hero! He removed a bit of metal from my eye that had rusted. I came in to the appointment an emotional wreck from the agony of the last three days but all the staff were so kind and comforting to me. The procedure was a breeze! Dr. Deaton got my eye fixed like a wizard and it only cost me $153 cash pay! Other places were going to charge around $400 for cash pay- so discouraging!! Great experience today. My teenage son’s first eye exam and all the staff were wonderful. Dr Deaton was very professional and explained everything to us. Highly recommend!

It was a great experience at this eye care facility, DeHaven Eye Care in Mineola, Texas. The doctor was John Deaton, O.D. The eye conditions of which were diagnosed at my appointment were explained thoroughly, as well as the possible procedures that would correct them. The provider and staff were very courteous and professional in assisting me throughout my exam. Each step was explained and the results of each that were being sought by the individual components of the exam machinery being used.
