About Virginia Parkway Pet Hospital
Virginia Parkway Pet Hospital is a highly recommended clinic known for its knowledgeable and caring doctors. The doctors, including Dr. Reno, Dr. Pena, and Dr. Studdard, are very attentive, spend time explaining issues, and look at the whole picture during thorough physical exams. They provide outstanding care, even for challenging and ongoing medical issues. The practice has a great working relationship with specialists in the Dallas area for referrals.
The office staff is friendly and helpful. The doctors' experience is bolstered by work with a large rescue, exposing them to many unique health cases. This knowledge benefits pets presenting with unusual conditions. While there can sometimes be a wait for appointments, the doctors are worth waiting for. Exams are often conducted in the treatment area to facilitate a more thorough check, with findings always reviewed afterward. The clinic is a trusted primary choice for many pet owners.
We have used Virginia Parkway Pet Hospital for our black lab's medical needs for over nine years. Dr. Reno, Dr. Pena, and their staff are the BEST. They've helped us through our dog's varied health needs--- from minor infections and illnesses to more serious ones. Dr. Reno is a ROCK STAR!!🤩 We love her and her team! Our Chocolate Lab, Delaney, has always been so well taken care of-particularly in surgery!! That is always the scary part, but Doc Reno is excellent, and always follows up to see if your baby is doing ok. Also, when we lost one of our little dogs, she was so compassionate-sending a beautiful card with our dog’s footprint. We highly recommend Virginia Parkway Pet Hospital! Virginia Parkway Pet hospital has been awesome to both me and my Boxer puppy Dozer. They are polite and professional and address any needs that I have very quickly. They have an app that helps remind me of any of Dozers needs and I can communicate with them through the app as well. I even had a bit of an emergency just hours after taking Dozer in for a check up. He was bitten by another dog I was able to contact them and Susan had me come right in to check on Dozer and did not even charge me. They really care about you and your pet. I would highly recommend them.
