Mr. Hagen is the best piano teacher!! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. My son has been taking piano lessons for several years and we are overjoyed with the results. Mr. Hagen is very accommodating with his hours and is very patient. My son learns more than just piano and theory, he learns about history and composers as well. This is a wonderful environment for someone to flourish and learn piano at their own pace. Mr. Hagen provides a nice space for the parent or parents to experience the lesson along with your child. I think that if anyone is serious about wanting to learn guitar having an instructor like Andrew is really going to give you a good head start into that world and a solid foundation with the fundamentals and having good technique. Because I am super green behind the ears (4 months of lessons so far) we started off learning simple versions of parts of songs. With his help I learned some power chords (Yeah me!) and it really helped my Come Together come together. After a few weeks my Hey Jude no longer sounded like Hey Jerome and we even got in a little of the late, great Bobby Womack with some Harry Hippie. My lessons are often the best part of my week.
