Dr. Desiree Stephens has had a profound impact on my growth as both a person and a future counselor. I had the privilege of having her as a professor, and she consistently went above and beyond for her students.

I had Dr. Stephens as a professor while I was completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is an amazing professor with a wealth of knowledge. She goes above and beyond in sharing all the ins and outs of helping clients, others, and ourselves in the field of mental health. She does this all while keeping things authentic, empathetic, and relatable. I’ve gained so much from her on my journey as a counselor that I continue to reference with the clients I have been entrusted with. I look forward to these additional opportunities of learning more from her in the near future!
