My son has been taking Piano lessons with Ms. Margarita for about the past eight months. I've been blown away by his progress, and a big part of that is due to his amazing teacher. She has a way of meeting each child where they are, which has been especially helpful for my son as he sometimes struggles with confidence. Despite his initial nerves, he recently performed on stage at a recital in front of a crowd, and I couldn't be prouder of him.
What I appreciate most about Ms. Margarita's teaching style is the way she makes learning piano feel enjoyable and accessible. She is always willing to laugh with her students, which helps put them at ease. At the same time, she's not afraid to push them to try new things and take risks, which has been beneficial for my son's growth as a musician. I feel grateful to have found a teacher who is not only knowledgeable and skilled but also kind, patient, and supportive.
I'm excited to see how my son continues to progress and grow as a musician, and I'm grateful for the role that Ms. Margarita has played in his journey so far.

Mrs. Margarita has been a wonderful piano teacher for my daughter. In just over 6 months, she’s gained confidence in reading notes and playing songs. Margarita is the best piano teacher I could have asked for. She has decades of piano teaching experience and she is very kind but will be strict. She’ll tell you what you need to do to become a better piano player. I started from scratch with her, knowing nothing and she has taught me how to read music and play songs from two different practice books. As someone in their 20s learning an instrument isn’t something that most people do but Margarita made it possible with flexible scheduling and tons of piano knowledge.

My daughter recently signed up and this would have been her third lesson unfortunately my daughter was extremely discouraged about going to class. We talked on the way there about teachers can sometimes be stern because they want to push us to be our best and that is okay and there is a difference between mean and stern. I convinced my daughter to give it another try and I sat in on her lesson and I am glad I did. My daughter who has only had on hour in total of piano lesson was continuously lectured and put down and her lack of piano skill. Multiple times was told she did not practice. I informed the teacher my daughter did in fact practice as I practice with her every night for 30 minutes and that each student has different learning abilities and should be treated as such. My daughter was also told that she did not play well. Yes a child needs discipline to practice when learning but it is also supposed to be fun and build their confidence. I sat and watched as my daughter was berated over and over by the teacher and my daughter just kept shrinking in her seat. I stopped the lesson halfway through and informed the teacher that this was unacceptable and listed all the reasons above I would not recommend this place to anyone

She encourages and provides feedback which helps him to learn better. We love coming here... My son is now confident in reading notes and plays short songs with ease... He recently did his first recital.. Looking forward to seeing his journey at McKinney Piano & Voice academy...

Its one year since we had kids start their lessons with Mrs Groysman. It's amazing to watch the kids progress and their skills improve. We are happy to have found the best piano teacher for our kids.
