WellMed at McKinney South

I was so impressed with Kendra McGown at WellMed in McKinney. She always greets me with a big smile and is so pleasant. She is extremely efficient and it’s obvious she knows her job and goes above and beyond.

Great practice! Connie who helped me schedule was amazing and took the time to call me back with a follow up question I asked her.

I had the best experience today with Clyde and NP Justin. They were both so kind, they really took their time getting to know me and my concerns, I did not feel rushed, and I plan to transfer my now 18 year old twin daughters to this clinic and provider.

I have never been impressed with the medical industry’s total lack of respect for their patient’s (customer’s) time, but this place is the worst! Zero respect for your time whether you are on the phone, or standing in front of their reception desk. They recently closed their McKinney North location moving the medical practitioners here, and they are planning to close their Frisco location next. Be warned Frisco, this “South” site is pathetic. The practitioners are still good once you finally get into a room with them, but every aspect of “administration” prior to, and after meeting with your practitioner is as screwed us as screwed up can be. Be ready to sit on hold for 45 minutes plus on the phone and be ready to stand in front of their reception desk reception desk for 15+ minutes while one or two people sit there on the phone. And if you expect to do anything on their portal, forget about it. They’ve screwed that up too. My family is currently looking for a new provider so that this”corporation” can no longer mess up our lives. Bye Bye you incompetent “business” managers, you really do suck,

My new doctor requested my medical records weeks ago, and they have not been sent. I physically came into the office today to try to expedite this, I was told they will resend it to the medical records department And it would likely take another week or so. This is the reason I have chose to go to another doctor completely, Well, one of the reasons.

My daughter has been waiting on a pre authorization for over a week. Every time we call they say they barely received the paperwork which is not true. They’ve had it since last week! As of today still waiting..

I had an anual check up and it was so pleasant the staff was so friendly in the lab was fast with no complication and the nurse practitioner M. Conner was very professional. I recommend this office to everyone

My PCP Dr. Jeffrey George is a very caring doctor. I have been going to him for years. I have seen him come through several moves regarding Wellmed, and he represents them well. The staff is good. Moving adds extra work to keep things moving for the doctors and patients. But it seems to be getting to a point that it finally starts to work for the patient. Insurance department handles coverage well. I will continue to see Dr. George.

I moved to a location in North Dallas. I changed Doctors to be closer to my new home! This practice is organized and the Doctor was very thorough! I was impressed!
