While wait times can sometimes be long due to the practice being super busy, patients often find they do not have to wait long to get an appointment, sometimes being scheduled urgently. Patients are very appreciative and cannot imagine going anywhere else.
Ive had a fantastic experience so far with Dr. Ali and the rest of the staff at the McKinney location. Have been able to get appointments easily, havent had to wait for when arriving for my appointment, and staff have been super helpful and friendly. Also great that Ive been able to do all my lab work onsite! Highly recommend Dr.Ali for endocrinologist needs!
My thought many practices, especially primary care, find insurance reimbursements too low after overhead and delays, pushing them toward cash-pay or direct primary care models with monthly fees. This skips insurance entirely for routine visits, speeding up care without pre-approvals. Patients with high-deductible plans often save by self-paying instead. (only need to wait until for new plan May to kick in.
I recently had an appointment with Gabriela De Vita and was very impressed with her thoroughness and excellent bedside manner. She is a top-tier provider who truly listens to her patients. However, I am rating the practice 3 stars due to significant administrative challenges. Reaching the office by phone is nearly impossible, and the digital tools they encourage, specifically the Healow app and their website forms, don't work. I would love to continue seeing Ms. De Vita, but reliable communication is essential for managing my healthcare.
