“Visiting from Boston just to do my hair with Janet is worth it . I have been coming to her since high school to dye my hair blonde and it’s been a good experience and process . After moving to Boston I remained coming to her . 4months to 2 years my hair looks fresh and done regardless of how long I take to come and do a retouch . The bleach and hair dye is chemical free and it is good quality . The price may have increased but what I would get here in the salon it’s affordable and reasonable than going to an expensive salon in Boston and spend double . When it’s the same process“

“I’ve been going to Ashleigh for almost 2 years now and I cannot recommend her enough! She has done balayage, haircuts, deep conditioning treatments, and event makeup. I consider my hair to be “special” (I suppose we all do) because I am biracial and it is super curly but very fine and I found previous hairdressers to have a hard time cutting my natural curly hair whether it is wet or dry. Usually the layers are off or it still ends up being uneven and the shape flat. But Ashleigh absolutely knows what she is doing and not only does my hair look and feel the best it has ever been, it is healthier and growing like a weed. I came in with virgin hair that hadn’t been chemically processed in over 10 years and she used a very gentle color system to add a gorgeous golden balayage to my dark hair that I get complimented on DAILY! She also uses very high quality products in fact, her Kuene curly shampoo and conditioner is all I use now at home and my two teen girls use it too and I can see true changes in the health of their hair as well. Oh, and the makeup she does is fabulous, I wanted something super natural looking and she used airbrush to create a flawless elevated look based on my skin tone and outfit. If you are looking for a 10 out of 10 professional makeup artist or hair stylist, she is the IT!“

“When I tell you that this is the place to be if you are new and trying to learn about different styles I MEAN IT! The ladies are well versed in the products (that are more than affordably priced). They patiently answered my questions about how to style my wig. We all know that when you go to the beauty shop you either get half ass answers shouted from behind the register OR condescending answers from someone with more attitude than edges. We spent almost an hour in the store while she demonstrated ON OUR HEADS how to put on the wig and not once did we feel rushed. This is such a welcoming change of pace. ALSO the inventory and choices are so abundant. If the customer service doesn't make you come back the product variety will.“
