“My first visit was last week on April 29, 2026. I originally came in for a haircut and beard trim, but came out with a better experience! If you’re a regular, you already know! I was very kindly welcomed by the staff. Mona, is the barber apprentice that serviced me. She’s just starting off her barber career but left me looking fresher than a washed head of lettuce. (Más fresco que una lechuga!) Everyone at work the next few days was complimenting my new hairstyle! Even now a week later I once in a while get told, “hey, I like your hair!”

Yes, Mona did a great job! She’s a strong rookie, and under great mentorship and guidance from a longtime veteran barber Mike (el primo, literally Mona’s cousin!), and the other extremely experienced barbers. After the haircut and beard trim I also got a full back deep tissue massage because it turns out that Mona is actually a certified/licensed Massage Therapist! This place has regular massages and RLT (Red Light Therapy). I didn’t have time to do the RLT, but I will next time! An additional 30mins of my time, but I came out looking clean, fresh, and so relaxed!

My understanding is that Shears & Blade Executive Barbería is Latino owned and operated, and has such a diverse multicultural staff! Oh yes, it’s well flavored and spiced! There’s a barber there for anyone and everyone. Tell them what you’re aiming for and they know exactly what you want and make you look great, feel relaxed, and leave with a smile to conquer the rest of the day!“
