I specifically want to give a shoutout to Mario, who’s been my go-to barber. He works at the Hall Professional location next to Domino’s in Kyle. That guy’s my dude. If you’re looking for a barber and don’t know who to book with, I’d recommend him.

My haircuts have always been solid, but honestly, one of the things I like most is that he’s willing to work with you if you’re not exactly sure what you want. You can throw out ideas, ask questions, show him a picture, whatever, and he’ll help you figure it out. He doesn’t just sit you down, give you a standard cut, and send you on your way.

The rapport is awesome too. It’s always chill, it’s always a good conversation, and it’s never that awkward barber chair experience where you’re both just sitting there in silence wondering what to talk about.

Overall, 10/10 experience with Hays County Barber Shop and with Mario specifically. Solid cuts, solid dude, and I’ve recommended him to friends more than once. If you’re thinking about checking the place out, give Mario a shot.“
