I had a fantastic experience with Double K Construction. Kalob and his team were absolute rockstars from start to finish and made me feel very comfortable having them working inside my home here in Crown Colony, Lufkin.
They removed a cabinet above my stove and installed a properly vented hood system in its place. The previous setup was a microwave mounted too close to the cooktop and didn’t vent well at all, which made cooking really uncomfortable. The team raised the cabinet, painted it, and installed everything so seamlessly that it honestly looks like it was always designed that way in my kitchen.

We recently used Double K Construction and Design LLC after a leak turned into a much bigger issue than we expected. We ended up needing our whole floor ripped up, mold mitigation, another leak found and repaired, and our counters redone. Through the entire process they were fast, friendly, helpful, and took really good care of our home.
They also dealt with all the insurance headaches and made a stressful situation so much easier on us. Everyone was professional, communicated well, and genuinely cared about doing things the right way. We are so thankful for all of their hard work and highly recommend them to anyone needing repairs or remodeling done!
Double K bid on a remodel I did recently, but I ended up going with a lower bid.
As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I have chatted the owner of Double K back and forth a little, both before and after my job was done, and I feel confident my job would have been completed with more polish and attention to detail, with way less stress if I would have hired Double K instead.
