Angelina Animal Hospital

Took my friends dog in early this morning. They told us we had to put $550 down to just bring her in. Told us the vet would be in around noon.
Prior to said vet arriving they would take blood and start a treatment plan.
Noon went by, as well as 1p, 2p & 3p with no feedback, other than we needed to put down another $2200 and they couldn't tell us what it included.
Friend went down to pick her up tonight and asked for just enough antobiotic and anti-nasuous medicine for tonight so they can take her to her local vet.
They charged them about $300!
The final straw was when the vet wouldn't come out to discuss your babies situation
I am sooooo disappointed in this place!!! God forbid I have an emergency, they will go to Longview!!! Hoping they run efficiently and that its not all about money!

I’ve been to Angelina Animal Hospital twice and both times. I had an amazing experience. Today, I had to put my senior Lab down. The experience was heart breaking. But the level of compassion my son and I received while doing the unimaginable sure made the experience less traumatic. The staff were so sweet and helped ease our anxiety. We were given a private room which was set up like a small living room area, creating a more homelike experience. They gave us plenty of time to spend with our loved one and didn’t rush us . Before we left, they put his body in a white box and wrote his name and a sweet message on the outside. I mean, it was so much better than I was expecting, having heard horror stories about other clinics that provide this service. I will use this clinic from now on and encourage anyone looking for a vet to consider Angelina Animal Hospital for their pet care.

This is the second time I’ve boarded both my pets there. The dog food I had was labeled and instructions were written out clearly. Pick them up the dog food only one bag was not even emptied looked at the chart. They posted they only fed them twice. They did not feed my dog while they were there, then tried to say that they made a mistake that the dog was fed when I tried to show them the evidence that the food was still there. What did they feed them? The girl at the counter Walked away and had an attitude. They neglected my pure bread lab they did not even acknowledge their mistake and error, but got an attitude. I’ve used this place for two years. I will never go back here.

I’m a creature of habit, I’ve been taking my dog. For years there even after some dubious diagnoses, but no more, if you decided to go there make sure you bring your AMEX Black. I should have listen years ago. Reviews don’t lie.

If you want to feel like your time don't matter, this place is for you!! I'm the only one here and I have been sitting here for a hour. They have done nothing but sat there talking to each other.

Took my bunny in because one of his eyes were clouded. Gave him antibiotics and eye drops. $500.
Took him to another vet and they immediately figured out it was a cataract. (Lone Star vet) The eye drops were deemed useless and I found out I wasted my money. If I were to describe this vet clinic I’d say incompetent and useless. Why was a tech having to figure out what was wrong with my bunny? I paid for the services of a veterinarian. Dont take your animals here, it’d be better just to schedule an appointment with another vet. I know this place’s appeal is walk ins, but they’re utterly useless when they can’t even figure out what’s wrong with your animal.

If you're animal is a family member that you love don't Carry them there. They don't want to hear what I have to say about them. I would probably be in jail. Money hungry nothing to do with loveing animals. It pisses me off that they didn't care to do any blood work on a 15 year old dog that was everything to me. Before they nurtured him. He had been doing just fine until after getting that done. Stopped eating lost weight and now gone. Wish they would have explained the risk vs the benefits. After his complications he had a level 6 heart murmer and needs heartmeads after they decided to do blood work.that I had to pay for also. I could have put all that money on something that he really could use. He didn't have to be neutered as much as the medicine he needed. I would have never put him threw all that if I would have known before hand. They can say what ever they want but I know that they are just for the money. If I needed help and they was the only place then I would just rather die. Because I feel dead that I let them care for my boy. Bugger. Love you buddy you will always have my heart with you. And it may say Cindy on the paper work so don't tell me that you can't find my files.

Awesome staff. I'm a truck driver that had a dental emergency for my dog. Was able to get him in and out very fast. Did awesome explaining everything to me.

Good people help my dog

We had to bring in a kitten on weekend . The vet tech was fabulous and understanding . Unfortunately the kitten had to euthanize. The service and staff here were very helpful . Highly recommended
