great shop! we came from out of town for my very first tattoo, and I was really anxious and nervous on how the whole process was going to go. I was intimidated just thinking of talking to an artist about my ideas - but the guys at the shop were really welcoming and down to earth so all my fears were definitely unfounded. I've worked with Matt twice. We talked about covering up a bad tattoo from a shop in Dallas as well as outlining the flowers on my back and adding more color. I have no reason to find another artist here in Lubbock. If you want work from an artist at Black Door Studio, email the artist and tell them what you're looking for. I'd plan ahead to make sure you get on the books because this studio is in high demand. *The music Matt played was the right vibe and he was patient when I needed a break. He has a light hand, so that's a plus. Nothing but love from me-
