I recently had the opportunity to tour CHRISTUS Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Longview with CEO Toyia Urbaniak, who I’ve gotten to know through the Longview Chamber of Commerce REACH Team.
Toyia and I had been talking at one of our Chamber ribbon cuttings about our “day jobs,” and I became especially interested in learning more about rehabilitation care. My parents are at a stage of life where rehabilitation services have become much more familiar to our family, so I appreciated hearing Toyia explain the hospital’s focus on helping patients recover, regain their independence and get back to living as full a life as possible.

Our Family member improved greatly with the best staff and facility for his stroke rehabilitation with their personalized attention for his prognosis and rehab program.
Everyone from the Doctors, office, medical, aides, techs, housekeeping and culinary staff were all instrumental in our loved ones recovery.
We are so grateful and appreciative to each and everyone who assisted and participated in his care. We love each one of you!
This is the best Rehab! Everyone who worked there were exceptionally nice and empathetic to my mother in law's needs! A few people that I want to especially thank were Paula, Craig, Kelly, her other 2 PT's (I can't recall their names!!), and the ladies at the front desk when you get your visitor badges. All deserve high recognition for their level of care!
