Kajukenbo at Decisive Defense Academy is one of the best things we have ever done for our family. We no longer live in the area, but if we did, we would be there as often as possible. Sifu speaks life and encouragement into each child and truly cares about their development. We started when my son was diagnosed with developmental coordination disorder, and Sifu cared so much about his progress and accomplishments. He would get just as excited as we did. My boys still admire and respect Sifu so much, as does our whole family. My husband and youngest daughter joined my boys for a year or two as well! Run, don’t walk. Very few places like this exist anymore

This is a school that teaches Kajukenbo, a style that focuses on self-defense instead of competition. I started doing private sessions with sensei Brien Cooper last spring and he opened my mind to scenarios and ideas different from my previous years of doing Muay Thai and Boxing. Brien and the other professors are very knowledgeable, open-minded, and just great people overall. I highly recommend this school to anyone who’s looking to learn self-defense.

Isaac LOVED his party - the lesson, the CUTTING HIS CAKE WITH A REAL SWORD, playing Piso (sp?), joking around with his... read full review
