I know this review is long overdue, but honestly—that says more about the impact Dr. Brecheen has had on our lives than anything else. Even a year later, I still feel the need to say thank you.
My son, from the very beginning, was intuitive and quick to comprehend—analytical, thoughtful, and eager to do his best. Starting in early elementary school, we began noticing a gap between what he *understood* and what he could *produce*. His comprehension was high, but his work was slow, and something just didn’t add up. Like many parents, I assumed it might be focus, effort, or just something he would grow out of.

We’ve been seeing Dr B for almost ten years for annual kids eye exams. He’s so amazing and doesn’t require dilation which is a God send. He even bought an abnormality that no one had caught before!! He’s patient and kind and always takes the time to ask insightful questions during the exams. When asked any questions, he does an excellent job of explaining in simple terms.
I would 100% recommend him to anyone.
After a t-bone car wreck, I had a concussion and vision problems. My peripheral vision had declined greatly and it was very hard to read. I am a college student and it was exceedingly difficult to complete my assignments. After a few months of little to no vision improvements, I was referred to Brecheen Learning & Vision Center and began having sessions in the spring and throughout the summer. Thanks to Dr. B and my incredible vision therapist, I have experienced much vision improvements. I have recently graduated from their vision therapy program.
