I went in to get a piece as soon as possible, and Jesse started immediately to get the stencil ready. Jesse is amazing and did a great job recreating the picture into a tattoo. He will be where I go for my tattoos from now on. Also A living canvas is a great space in general!

got a tattoo & 1 piercings (shoulder tattoo, & came back for a nose piercing)would 100% come back.everyone is SOOOOOO nice & professional.i know sometimes tattoos can be a scary thing, especially if it’s your first, or you have an artist you’ve been using, but this place will make you feel so comfortable and confident in your artist100% will be coming back

This review is 8 years too late but......better late than never.I came to this location in November 2015 to get my bonus mom's name tattooed onto my wrist. At the time she was at the end stage of cervical cancer and our family had been spending the last few months caring for her needs around the clock...so emotions were super high.It wasn't/isn't a fancy tattoo just her name "Mary" but when the tattoo artist was finished this huge wave of emotion hit me because this tattoo would eventually become a memorial to her and that broke my heart to realize. I don't remember his name but he was a big, handsome, burly guy who looked like he could bench press 300lbs but he had enough humanity and compassion to give me the sweetest/tightest bear hug and allowed me that moment to get those tears out and compose myself. I don't know if he's even still there anymore but I always remember him, that night and moment and I send him my sincerest "thank you" for helping me through that experience and making it one of the most memorable during a sad and depressing time. Some businesses and people go above and beyond. I'd definitely recommend this tattoo parlor! ????

My wife and I went in to get pierced on Friday the 13th. Wait was super short and Ray did an AMAZING job. Specially as it was my first piercing she made us both feel super comfortable. Shop was super clean and the tattoo artists were all really nice. Will definitely be back for tats or piercings!Services: Piercings

I brought my mom here for her 65th bday to get a long awaited eyebrow ring. Raelynn was Awesome!!! She explained everything step by step and answered all the questions we had. She was patient and kind. The staff was very nice and friendly as well. The place was clean and organized.

Got my first tattoo at A Living Canvas about a year ago and it was a great experience - so when I decided on tattoo number two I knew I had to go back. Skylar did my first one, Dalton did my most recent one (just got this week, Aug '23) and I can give both of these artists glowing recommendations. They are patient and very professional. I gotta get Dalton up to speed on music for us old-timers though :DThe shop is super clean and comfortable. Charming location, I think it was built in the 1950s and recently renovated, it has that classic feel. Just west of the main strip in Old Town Lewisville.
