“We have been going to Leander Vet Clinic for almost ten years. They have been there from annual vet checks to the passing of our beloved furry baby. I love that they’re a family owned clinic. You’re not treated as just a number, but like family. The environment is clean, warm, inviting, and adorably decorated. The front staff is warm and attentive. I recently took my shihtzu there for an eye issue and Dr. Morehead was thorough and took the time to explain each step of the examination even drawing out what’s going on a whiteboard. The next day a received a follow up call on bloodwork by a different Dr. who was equally thorough and so nice. Anytime I have ever needed anything for my pets they are right there to help. There is not a better place in the Austin area to take your furry babies!“

“Been my favorite vet for 5 years and I’ve had my dogs for 13 years. There’s a 1 star review that talks about the doctor being a woman and wanting to charge $2500 for something. Doc’s the most affordable vet ever and is a man… so I’m not sure I’d trust that one“

“The staff here are so friendly and it makes the process so much easier. My cat is very fractious and they always take their time with him and dont do anything hes not comfortable with! Dr. Winegarner is super sweet and has cats of her own so id recommend going to her if you have an anxious kitty. They are also super quick with pet prescriptions if your pet needs those as well!“

“I am 58 years old and have had animals my entire life, and I can honestly say this is by far the best veterinarian “Dr Gonzalez” I have ever been to. I have a very sick cat who I truly believed I was going to have to put down, but my vet is doing everything possible to save him and keep him comfortable, even with the limited funds I have. The entire staff is incredible—from the front desk, to the nurses, to the x-ray tech, and especially the doctor Gonzalez.They are all so caring, compassionate, and amazing with all six of my dogs and cats. “Amazing reptile vet. Dr Cox is so kind and informative! Really pleased with the services here. Financial info: We treated my beardie everyday for a week and then I took her back in for a follow up. First visit was $200 for a bunch of things that they tested her with and injections and eye drops for me to take home. Follow up visit was $180 for the follow up and blood work. I feel very safe having a plan going forward with my beardie and trust she is in good hands. Dr Cox also does a great job running down all of the specific charges and explaining what they were for!“
