Ian Vala has now done work for me five times as of today. I had a burst water pipe in the attic that caused the lights and outlets in the same area below to no longer work. He was very thorough as usual, and checked every single possibility. He was able to troubleshoot and diagnose the problem and had it repaired in no time at all. He also corrected a couple of other issues he found and for no extra charge. Ian is extremely dependable, reliable, and highly skilled, not to mention very intelligent. Ian was absolutely great! He was extremely knowledgeable and had a very friendly down to earth personality.He was able to quickly identify and fix the problem I had with a hanging light fixture in our living room.He listened to all of my concerns and didn't hesitate to answer all of the questions I came up with.I will definitely use him again in the future and would recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable electrician.Services: Light fitting installation

I requested three bids for some small miscellaneous electrical work at our house. Two of the electricians that responded provided a fair free estimate. However, Ian Vala with Vala Electrical was incredibly responsive and professional. I cannot say enough positive things in this review about his service, pricing and professionalism in completing the job. He provided an excellent job for a fair price. Highly recommended and will definitely use Vala Electrical on any future projects.Had Vala Electric come out for a quick look at a GFCI problem. Ian is a Master Electrician who has decided to settle down in the Houston area. He has been doing electrical since he was a child; Ian's father has been an Journeyman Electrician since 1989. After learning from his father, Ian began traveling the country doing endless electrical jobs anywhere from California to Virginia wiring custom homes, restaurants, retail stores, and production facilities. Ian has also replaced many homes wire that was damaged in a flood, installed home stand by generators and solar panels, upgraded panels, as well as doing day to day service calls.
