I went here with a few friends for the first time. The waitress was pleasant. I ordered the arroz con habichuelas, tostones and empanada. Everything I had was authentic and tasty.
Love this place whether it’s a meal with the Family or date with my Husband, it’s always a great time spent! La Garita restaurant is really a great experience. Service is excellent and the food delicious. This Puerto Rican culinary wonder will worth your visit if you are in the Killeen area. And if you are hungry, you get plenty for your money. The Mofongo, Puerto Rican style rice and beans and all the entrees are authentic Puerto Rican flavor. I felt I was visiting my grandmother back in Puerto Rico, it took me back to my roots. I definitely recommend this restaurant 100%.
