I had to cut my hair off after my experience with Tedaka. She relaxed my hair & bleached and colored it. My hair fell shedded and broke off. I also didn’t like the color so I then went back to her and she suggested we do not use bleach to “keep the integrity of my hair” - but I didn’t realize the hair was dead the second she touched it. My new hairstylist advised me to leave a ‘nasty’ review as the shops owner , Ms. D watched her do this, and anyone with a liscense should know better. I’d rather she had advised me that what I wanted was not possible , than her take my money and me loose my hair. Am writing this review to let any and everyone know to go elsewhere.

Extension Braids Cornrows. I have been in TX for ten years, looking for someone to braid my hair with out pulling my hair out. I had experienced some upsetting moments with others, like hair being broken off at the root and wrong hair style being done. But I am happy to say I have a place where I'm not worried about my hair being pulled out. The barbers and stylist there make you feel like family. The atmosphere there is great. If your looking for a place that is passionate about their work, cares about how their clients not just with the way the style looks once completed but the overall healthy of your scalp and and face. This is the place to come to. My boy Damien be getting me right! Love how easy it is to book an appointment online. Clean barbershop / salon in a newer plaza. Close to the highway, so the location is easy access. Been getting a cut here for a year and a half. Ain’t stopping no time soon!

Dame, Jess, and Mrs. D make this place not only a shop to take care of your cosmetic needs but they welcome you in with loving and open arms, and accept you as family! Since the beginning when I first moved to Killeen I needed to establish a new barber, did google searching and found inspired design and called them up. Instantly they asnwer and gave me all the confidence that I needed to come up there to get a cut, considering it was convenientally close to my house I was excited! When I got there I got introduced to Dame where he took his time with me and made sure my cut was perfect and definitely to my liking, offered me a drinks and snacks while I waited, and even during the cut! I never felt so much at home in my life! Great music, family vibe, and never a dull moment! Then Mrs. D introduced herself after the cut, with a compliment on my hair! From then on me and Mrs. D talked for a good 2 hours about any and everything! I wasn’t in a rush and for once in my life it was like a bother family willing to accept me, at that moment I realized that this was a safe spot, that became my home away from home! This was 6 years ago and to this day, I still go to inspired design. I still go to Dame or Jess when I’m in town (since I moved two years ago) or need a cut! Since moving away I set aside extra money just to travel from San Antonio to them! They truly are the best shop you or I could ever go to! Multiple services, great atmosphere, and caring/loving people! I highly recommend!!!Services: Haircut
