When I think about the customer experience of the companies I use frequently, and more specifically their operational processes I think the Welch Dental Group is actually the best of the best! I'm talking better than experiences such as the Starbucks Mobile order, Marriott remote check-in, United airlines etc. Over the 10+ years of being a customer I have witnessed subtle changes they have made to intentionally iterate and optimize the experience resulting in the smoothest single point of contact experience with essentially no handoffs from scheduling, cleaning, exam and exit!
