I was needing a repair for my vehicle. I am new to the area. I went to Top Shelve Auto repair. It was putting back some under carriage shields that had come off and lose from being in high water. The owner took my vehicle in and fixed both areas front and back. He was very kind, but when I asked him how much I owed him, he said nothing. What a blessing to me. I was traveling through from another State back in April, traveling with my mom. My tire light came on and I thankfully found this place and they checked it for me. As suspected it was the sensor battery. He offered to replace it right then but we had to get back on the road. I just want to say thank you for giving me peace of mind as we continued our journey.
I have taken two vehicles here and received excellent service both times. They stand by their work, I had some issues with the dealership getting my truck repaired after the a/c compressor went out at 59k miles. The dealership (Grapevine CDRJ) tried to charge me 5k for a new radiator after my truck overheated. The dealership didn’t even pop the hood to see what the problem was, turns out it was a broken accessory belt and didn’t have anything to do with the radiator. I replaced the belt myself, but it was a bad a/c compressor that caused the belt to fail.
