After 20 years of coming to this practice, I will never return. The staff professionalism has plummeted since doctor Miller retired. I arrived within the 15 minute grace period after navigating a bad traffic wreck in Burleson but due to a patient in front of me and the other receptionist on the phone I wasn't formally checked in into the system until 16 minutes passed. The staff completely lacked empathy and turned me away for being a single minute late by their computer clock ignoring the fact that I was physically standing in line before the cut off. I was Dr. White’s patient. The practice sold out after he retired and Dr. Mackenzie moved on. The practice went to absolute chaos, rudeness and simply not caring for patients. I was told today when I was completely out of my medicine that they would no longer fill my prescription. I had rescheduled three times in the last year, most recently the nurse practitioner canceled on me same day. She canceled. I rescheduled! I understand things come up. I have three small kids and I live 50 minutes away from the office. However, doctor Majid has never met me. Then to quite literally know I’m out of medicine and not see me is asinine. If you have Medicare and are already a pt. Family medicine your Medicare is accepted. Some but not all will take new patients at start of year with Medicare . I’ve seen my hospital bills and the amount Medicare pays. No blame on Family medicine. They work hard and long hours. And exposed to who knows what. So kudos to Doctor Hoffman and staff.
