Jack Schmidt of Benchmark Service came to the rescue. We had a different vendor install a Mitsubishi mini split in our primary bedroom. After numerous calls and several years of adding expensive refrigerant, we needed to have someone competent to repair or replace our unit. Since our original vendor would not stand behind their installation even though the unit was still under warranty, we called Jack. He responded very promptly and as the largest Mitsubishi mini split installer in Texas he had the parts, tools, and staff to properly replace the line set and indoor unit which was installed poorly by our original vendor. I can't say enough how much I appreciate the attention I received. There was not a question they couldn't answer. A testament to the kindness of down home people easing your fears when making a purchase that large. I wish there were more businesses out there that delivered above and beyond on the promises made, like these people did. I reached out to Tony, who is a plumber I used in the past. He is now working for Benchmark, so right off the bat, I had full trust in them. Luke came out and inspected my AC and said I needed a new one. He went into the attic and pointed out why it died. The ductwork installed by the builder was not up to his standards, so he put in a request for a new AC and ductwork. Luke was very knowledgeable and I respected and appreciated his transparency and diagnosis.After giving me the quote, Luke set me up with a zero percent financing payment plan for 18 months.
