Cook Children's Pediatric Specialties in Hurst offers friendly staff at the front desk, a nurse, and doctors who are nice and attentive. Patients often experience a very clean location and a great overall visit, though some wait a long time—almost an hour—due to missing insurance info. Many families recommend the center for its wonderful and courteous care, especially for OT visits.
The staff was very friendly at the front desk and so was the nurse and Doctor that my daughter saw that day. The biggest complaint I have is the long wait which took almost an hour after her scheduled appointment for her to be seen due to them not having the correct insurance information on file. Besides that it was a great experience overall and a very clean location.

I took my 2 year old there this morning to have a cast put on and before I could get started filling the paperwork out they called us back. Then before I could get the second line filled out. The doctor was in there. She was Extremely nice! Showed me the break on the x-ray, explained everything and within 10 min. the splint was cut off and the cast on and heading out the door. Every employee there was very nice! They have that place running like a finely tuned engine. Every hospital, clinic, doctors office, etc... needs to go by there and see how done!
My daughter dislocated her pinky and chipped one of the bones. The staff and Dr's and sport therapist have been great to deal with. Very detailed in explanations and conveying concerns. I did not give 5 stars only because their automated phone system is not ideal when trying to reach someone for a general question. Took me 5 minutes of hiring numbers to reach someone.
