No sense is quite as important as sight, so you want an optometrist who knows his stuff. That is why I visit Dr. Patel for my eye care. Dr. Patel cares about his patients and the community; you can tell he truly has the desire to help and serve his patients with care and expertise. I am a nervous patient, especially when it comes to something so important as my eyes. So, when my eye puffed up to the extent I could hardly see from it, I became quite nervous and stressed. Dr. Patel got me an appointment quickly. He examined my eyes with care, being sure to make my comfort a priority. He identified the problem, thoroughly answered any questions I had about it, and sent me on my way with a prescription. By the same afternoon, my eye had begun to heal and my suffering abated. I was very grateful for his care. Whether you have a complex issue or just need the run-of-the-mill vision testing, you are in the best hands with Dr. Patel. I highly recommend him, his staff, and his practice at Focus. I look forward to *seeing* him in the future.

Elegant, Houston friendly, professional, and entire staff is customer service driven from point of contact to picking up eyewear! State of the art eye exam by Dr. Patel, and one-on-one personalized service by Armand who has years of experience helping select perfect frames that fit ‘your’ face. Truly THE most patient person I’ve met, explained details of designer frames & lens styles/features. Focus Refined Eye Care provides 1st class service that fits any ones budget. I can truly speak to the quality of my frames & lenses as I recently tripped & semi caught myself before my face & glasses met concrete (not because I couldn’t see, just wasn’t paying attention.) I knew my glasses/lenses would be broken the moment I fell BUT both were intact. A true testament to the quality!

Focus Refined Eye Care and Dr. Patel are awesome!! I was doing some looking around for a place for an eye exam. I called in, and they were very friendly on the phone and got me in the same day that afternoon. I knew I needed a contact fitting and a contact prescription in at least my left eye. I was also told by the last optometrist I saw that I would no longer be a candidate for laser eye touch up because of my astigmatism and over correction. Dr. Patel assured me that not only would I be able to get laser eye touch up surgery, but that lasik clinics treat and touch up people with my astigmatism and situations all the time. The exam was fast. Dr. answered all my questions and explained options across contacts, glasses, and lasik for whatever route I'd be most comfortable. I saw they already had a number of great 5 star reviews so I had to add mine. Simple and convenient to be seen. Affordable. And your contacts order can come in in the next day to a couple days. Central location. Clean and modern office. Friendly staff!
