I absolutely love this Drybar! I've been getting my weekly blowouts from Donnell, and he is amazing. He's so sweet, friendly, and consistently does an incredible job. My blowouts always last an entire week, which is exactly what I'm looking for.
The salon is always spotless, beautifully designed, and has such a clean, aesthetic vibe. From the moment you walk in, everyone is welcoming, and the experience is relaxing from start to finish.
I highly recommend Donnell and this location if you're looking for gorgeous, long-lasting blowouts and exceptional service!
I have the barfly subscription and have been to Drybar shops in various states. I like to use them when I travel, and for events when I'm home. River Oaks is one of two in the Houston area that I really enjoy because they are consistently very good. Ask for Britney if she's available.
Pretty average experience. It seems like the stylists are overworked and run thru your hair as fast as they can. My stylist was good but the entire time I felt like she was rushing to get it over with which didn’t make it a relaxing experience. When you enter, front desk staff do the bare minimum. They don’t go out of their way to inform you that the stylist is running behind. Don’t offer anything to drink like at other Drybar locations. Overall, the visit felt cold and detached- like you are more of an inconvenience rather than a customer. Not sure I’ll return here again.
