Dr. Barcacel is highly recommended for all eye care needs, with many loyal patients returning for his expertise and affordable visits.
First time seeing Dr. Barcacel for an eye infection caused by my contact lenses, and I'm so glad my sisters recommended him! I was impressed that he was able to see me the same day, especially since other offices had much longer wait times.
There was a wait once I arrived, but I honestly didn't mind. Dr. Barcacel was incredibly kind, thorough, and took the time to explain everything in detail. After my appointment, I still had a few questions because I was traveling out of the country, and his team promptly called me back with all the answers I needed.

I have known Dr B for a long time. He’s always been great with his thorough eye exams which is why I do my best to always come back to see him. My husband and my little girl are also his patients and they love him too! Any medical issues you have or family medical history may affect your vision, so Dr Barcacel will take the time to break it down in layman’s terms so you can stay on top of your overall health. If it wasn’t for him, I would have not known I have essential hypertension that was causing my blurred vision. Visits are affordable too so go see him! You won’t regret it 😌
Dr. Barcacel and his staff are very thorough and although I live in San Antonio I still see him for eye health. He has always been wonderful and nails the eye issues on the spot. He was recommended to me years ago and I have yet to be disappointed.
