“This review is to inform those who suffer from Iritis like myself, that I have found "actual" immediate, local help in Greenville, TX when you get a severe "flare up" that comes on quickly. His name is Dr. Peter Calvi, Jr. He is my Earth Angel and can be yours.

I had a flare up during Thanksgiving, which didnt help my situation. You may already know, trying to get an appointment with an Optomologist is 3 weeks to a month out because its a twice a month satellite doctor, or have tried a walk-in Urgent Care/24 HR ER's who have NO slitlamp and/or NO staff able to utilize said slitlamp - only to be turned away when in dire straights or even sought out help at the local hospital ER where they would rather send you all over the Dallas Fort Worth area to another ER who may have an on-call optomologist...you realize all your desparste attempts at getting immediate, local help, is a complete failure and you may lose your eyesight!

I suffered tremendously for a week before medical services resumed after Thanksgiving. I left a message at Dr. Calvi's office 12/1/24 and his staff called me in the morning on 12/2/24 to bring me in to be seen! Dr. Calvi had a slit lamp to diagnose the condition of my eye and prescribed exactly what I needed, to get it under control. It takes a long time to remedy Iritis and I am still on my medication, but my eye is 100 percent better.

I am so grateful for this Earth Angel among us! I highly recommend Dr. Peter Calvi's help and expertise for eye issues, his availability and skills especially work well for Iritis patients.

Also, his front desk manager and medical assistant, who is very efficient and kind, will set up your appointment, ask you needed answers to questions and relay your situation to the doctor before arriving for your scheduled appointment and help you check in and take a vision test. They may be able to take your insurance, if not you can self pay in cash or check. It's affordable. Come in a few minutes early to fill out any needed paperwork. All easy! 100 percent helpful!“
