Dr. Parmer and her team have performed IPL and radiofrequency treatments, followed by manual expression of the glands. This complete dry eye treatment has helped me tremendously in improving my symptoms. Together with my special eye drop treatment, it has allowed me to regain my quality of life. Thank you so much Dr.Parmer for supporting me through this situation all these years and for giving me so much help and such wonderful advice.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Parmer for the past two years for dry eye treatment, and she has been amazing. I’m disappointed that today was my last appointment with her due to ongoing issues with the office.
At my last couple of appointments, I’ve waited close to an hour in the waiting room before being called back. Today, I was asked to fill out paperwork, which was fine, but I declined to complete the refraction page since that is not the reason for my visit. A staff member approached me and insisted that I sign it. I explained that I already have an optometrist and did not want a refraction. She responded that “it is up to the doctor to decide.” I asked if I was being forced to sign it despite declining the service, and she said yes, so I signed it just to be seen today.
When I was finally brought back, the technician informed me that Dr. Parmer is no longer allowed to perform manual eyelid expressions. This is the primary reason I come in every 4–6 months, so learning this at the appointment was extremely frustrating.
The final straw was at checkout. I was told I had a $75 balance. At my previous visit, I was told I had a credit, so I was understandably confused. When I questioned it, the staff member said nothing and did not offer to get anyone to explain. I was left to figure it out on my own by calling my insurance.

Worst office staff - doesn't answer phone calls and then doesn't call back when you leave a voicemail. I don't want to even go back despite them having a great doctor.
NEVER reached out to me today - just sayin'

All of the supporting staff are friendly, and Dr. Tran is a very competent doctor, and treats his patients with respect and care.

Worst place ever. Office staff is extremely rude and was talking negatively about another patient in the waiting room when I checked in. Scheduled an appointment to have a chalazion seen and was very clear when booking the appointment that I have an eye doctor and only needed the chalazion seen. Rude office manager person kept telling me that I needed all the normal eye exam procedures before the doctor would see me. I already had them done back in August so asked why that was needed for the chalazion to be seen. She would not budge and said the doctor wouldn’t see me without them but couldn’t give a valid explanation as to why they were needed. I guess they just wanted to charge my insurance more $$. I walked out and called another ophthalmologist who said they would see me as a medical procedure and an eye exam is not needed to treat a chalazion. Such a scam going on at Key Whitman!!!

Appointment for my wife scheduled for 10:20am. It is 11:10am and we are still in the waiting room. Plan your out of offices for hours when you come here. The 2 stars are in the hope the consultation is worth the wait
