I was having gastrointestinal issues with pain in lower abdomen at time of 1st acupuncture. I purchased through Groupon but understand they also have direct specials through office. I never been before and some of the needle placements were quick and painless but others where not due to my symptoms. I was relaxed and after insertion were not painful but I was then was very relaxed for the 30 minutes the needles are in. I came out with alot less cramping n pain...there was still some mild discomfort from my symptoms but am feeling much better. I also was given herbal supplements. I will return for follow up appts. I recommend.
