Optometrists in Galveston

“Emergency on vacation**
I had a flare up of chronic iritis- 3 other places wouldn't see me unless I made an appointment. 3 for something that can cost me my vision, a legitimate eye emergency, while im out of state on vacation in unknown territory. I walked in and was literally ready to beg- told them why I was there and they said we've got a few people waiting but if you can fill out some paper work we will get you right in. The dr explained everything to me, explained the next steps i need to take due to it being a second flare up in 3 months. He could have left stones unturned as I'll never be back to them again but he didnt. He treated me like my care was top priority, short term and long term.
While sitting there we saw 4 or 5 other (seemingly) regulars or normal eye exam patients and the rest of the staff was jolly, attentive, respectful. I actually saw one employee walk up to a lady reading on her phone because he thought something was wrong and thats why her head was in her hand.
Honestly, if I lived anywhere near yall I'd come back over and over again. Thank you all again for being so awesome to me in a moment I felt horrible and like I wasn't going to get treatment from other places.“
