My first time there was today. My older dog needed his nails trimmed, he’s not a fan but also older, so I did not want him sedated unless absolutely necessary. My regular Vet of 35 years quoted an outrageous amount without asking any questions m, 3 other local vet offices did the same, without even seeing him. today I called True Vet, I explained what I was needing and they said bring him in, no crazy quoted amount, the doctor wanted to see him first. They recommended I give him calming pills If I had them, I gave him his dose and took him in 2 hours later. She meet with us I said that she would like to try putting his nails with just the calming pills. And I said that would be perfect but if you absolutely have to, we could consider sedation. I left and they did their magic, I went to pick him up and they said he was perfect. He actually fell asleep on the table. They did not have to sedate him the calming pills all that he had to take. I highly recommend true vet in Frisco. I will be taking all our pets there.

Dr. K is absolutely Amazing, and the office’s Atmosphere is very warm and welcoming to our fur babies. I have been going to Dr K for a few months for my fur babies and wouldn’t take them anywhere else unless absolutely necessary! Thank you Dr K from Benny, Liza, and Nubis.
Dr. K thought far ahead, not just for this one trip. She made sure Tao's EU vaccination history carried forward properly under US and Philippine requirements, and since the Philippines is high-risk for dog rabies, she set Tao up with a US-issued rabies certification before we leave — so future trips back to the US for holidays will be smooth instead of starting over each time. She also mapped the entire export sequence (USDA health certificate, CDC rabies certification, Philippine import permit) and made it efficient by combining appointments and building in a buffer for USDA's mail-back endorsement process.
