About The Golf Club at Fossil Creek

The Golf Club at Fossil Creek has been recognized as one of the best new resort golf courses in America since 1988. It features an impressive Arnold Palmer-designed golf course that offers a unique experience in the Southwest. The course layout is fun, with a mix of challenges and scoring opportunities, and each hole has its own character. The greens and fairways are generally in good condition, with recent maintenance keeping them well-maintained. The course offers scenic views and beautifully crafted holes, making it enjoyable both to play and to take in visually. The venue is popular for events, including weddings, and offers a beautiful setting for special occasions. Guests often praise the friendly and helpful staff, who help elevate the experience with attentive service, including frequent, well-stocked beverage cart service. The clubhouse is also noted for its beauty, and the boat house after 6 and 14 adds a nice touch to the overall atmosphere. Some guests have mentioned that the course can get crowded, which may slow down the pace of play, especially behind tournaments. There have also been notes about golf etiquette and a policy requiring paired players to share carts, which might impact future visits. Overall, The Golf Club at Fossil Creek delivers a quality golfing experience and excellent event services, making it a notable choice in the Metroplex area.

Charmagne made my experience an A+. Fossil Creek goes above and beyond to make your experience an excellent experience. I vote this the best experience in North Ft.Worth.

Course was clean & well maintained. A few great Par 3s and challenging courses made it fun to play. Great club house and Pro shop. Multiple cart girls made our experience fun. We will be back for sure!

The greens are in terrible shape. The note at booking said “Right now, Holes 1, 7, and 8 are playing on temporary greens while we complete restoration work, and select greens have been resodded as part of that effort” but the reality is there was one decent green between 1-15 (16-18 were closed due to flooding). I appreciate the attempt at transparency but it no where justifies a $80+ green fee. Save your money until they can get them back under control.
