I would highly recommend Lawndale Harris as funeral director if you find yourself in a situation of needing Laurel Land services during your time of loss. I lost my father and during a very trying time Lawndale was caring, professional, and very knowledgeable in helping us through the arrangements. She made sure everything went flawless, gave expert guidance, and was extremely responsive when we needed her. She also took the initiative to reach out just to check in on family and took care of so many things for us that allowed us to grieve without having to stress over all the details. She and Laurel Land were excellent during our time of grief.
I can’t even begin to imagine what this whole experience would have been without the help, care and compassion shown by Abby and Liz. The journey was incredibly hard and somehow it all worked out without any hiccups. It was that easy to put my mom to rest. It was that peaceful. It was quick (our choice). I hate to even recommend such a place but this is the inevitable for all of us. If you have to choose, go with the best. This is an incredible place where you can honor and respect your loved one. May my mommy rest in peace.
Laurel Land Funeral Home and Memorial Park made the transition of our departed into permanent remembrance simple, fully supporting our needs throughout. Andria Hill did a wonderful job of presenting the options for how we could inter our departed with the dignity and respect we wanted to give; she was patient, answering multiple questions, with a focus on what our departed had requested, the particulars that were important to different members of our family and was willing to work within our budget without pressure.
