The protocol for risk assessment was not clear and led to us not being fully on board with the plan for our child. Any parent that has to be seen by this practice is probably already being challenged and in a vulnerable state. The staff (besides Eric and Monica who are great) who answered a question I had about this protocol was not helpful and also not kind, which goes a long way in any setting that centers children. My opinion of Cook's was high before this incident.
