“Both Jack and Billie despise people outside of family. For some reason they tolerate everyone here (emphasis on tolerate). As antisocial as these two cats are, that says something to me about the place. Apparently, they see the same kindness and devotion there that I do. Couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.“

“Calamity and Weston just had their annual check-ups, and once again Dr. Eubank and the whole team were absolutely wonderful. They treat my kitties with so much patience, kindness, and genuine care—you can tell they truly love what they do.

Calamity felt like the princess she believes she is, and Weston (my little food-motivated shadow) was completely at ease. Everything was explained clearly, the visit was thorough, and I left feeling confident my babies are in the best hands.

I recommend this clinic 10 out of 10 and am so grateful for the amazing care they provide. ?❤️“

“My 23 year old cat came down blind suddenly, they were very caring, helpful, and worked around his extreme dislike of all things medical to find the cause of his issue and get a treatment plan that is working very well without stressing him out too badly. A couple of weeks later he had to go to an emergency vet for a separate issue, and Cross Timbers are working hand in hand with that vet to transfer his treatment over and get him the help and care that he needs. Fantastic experience with them, I highly recommend their services.“

“We had to bring in our sweet Dexter for an emergency splenectomy due to a ruptured mass. It was such a traumatic day, but everyone from the front desk staff to the vet techs to our surgeon were incredibly kind, patient and helpful. Throughout surgery and the recovery process they were honest and informative, and let us know that we could call or come in any time to check on our boy. I think we interacted with just about everyone on the team over those few days and that level of care was consistent across the board. I'm endlessly grateful to them for saving Dex and for taking such incredible care of him while he recovered. “Dr Shaffer has cared for all of my dogs (and one cat) since 1996. He is simply the best. He truly knows and does what is best for our critters. We “dabbled” with other vets when we moved, but quickly went back to Dr Shaffer…he is worth the drive?“

“Always makes sure multiple times a week, if not everyday, to take time and call each person back to set up an appointment so they don't have to rush on the phone. The owner, Laura, drives directly to YOUR house to take care of your animals so that we don't have to go through the hassle of putting them in the car/dealing with the aftermath. (yes, she cares that much for the animals, and yourselves). She is very good with all of her clients - thats includes both the human and animal clients.ALSO, she knows MANY of the animals located within the Flower Mound area; so, if your animal gets out there's a good chance she'll recognize who the little trouble maker is and return them (it's happened more than a dozen times). Even if she doesn't initially notice (sometimes they're very dirty after running around and having fun), there have been many times she's ran her microchip reader and been able to detect which dog/cat it is. You can tell she really has a passion/gift for what she does, and does it all without complaining.BEST VETERINARIAN EVER!“
