Both providers prioritize patient concerns, offering relaxed appointments whether in person or via telemedicine, and they take a conservative approach to care, exploring options before resorting to prescriptions. The staff is polite and efficient, handling appointment scheduling and prescription refills promptly. Although the clinic was undergoing remodeling as of late 2021, staff managed to navigate around the construction smoothly. Overall, patients feel valued, well cared for, and confident in the clinic's comprehensive approach to health care.
I met Dr, Megan Gilliam, DO the first time in April. She seemed to be genuinely concerned about my situation . She listened to me when I spoke and took time with me. She ordered prescriptions for me at her computer while I was in her examining room. I feel she had a caring nature and nice personality. Some of the procedures she said she would see about like extending my PT , has not happened. I realize I may be at the point my insurance will not cover more visits but it would be nice to be told that instead of wondering. I did get at home nurse care for which I am grateful for. I plan to go back to this doctor in the future even though I miss Dr. Bucan.
Dr. Jelena Bucan-Kurepa has been my primary care doctor for over ten years. Such a caring and knowledgeable doctor and person! I found out after the fact that Dr. Bucan and some other experienced doctors in the WellMed system were let go without warning through a group phone call effective immediately the day it happened. What a loss to her patients and to Well Med! And so inconsiderate of her patients and those of others who were also let go! No explanation was provided to patients … only a very brief statement in a mailed letter from WellMed saying she was no longer with them…nothing about company-wide changes being made. I came in today with a patient. I would like to say Kristin at the front desk has patience and you can see she cares about her patients. Seeing her help a patient today shows compassion.
