Lone Star Music Academy
“My older son has been a violin student at Lone Star Music Academy for the past 4 years, and we have been so pleased with his musical growth and development. This is his second year of qualifying to be a part of the TMEA All-Region Orchestra, and I would like to give credit to his current violin teacher, Ruan Carlo Schneider, and the school owner Jiyoung Johnston, for their impactful guidance and support. Ruan is a very talented, enthusiastic teacher with a very positive attitude. His optimistic energy and persevering nature has been a positive influence on my son. Additionally, Jiyoung has created a unique Honors Track Program that has helped my son become more confident with auditions and a better performer. The combination of Ruan and Jiyoung’s guidance has made a significant impact for my son and we are very grateful to have both of them as his musical mentors. I highly recommend this school for student musicians at all levels.”
