“I had to take my dog to El Paso Animal Urgent Care West on Sunday and I’m so thankful for the care we received. The doctor was incredibly kind and took the time to explain everything to me in detail, which really helped ease my worries. There was no wait time, and the staff was very professional and efficient.

They performed a thorough eye exam, provided the necessary medication, and sent us home with a cone, along with clear instructions and next steps for follow-up care. I really appreciated how informed and supported I felt throughout the visit.

Highly recommend this clinic if you need urgent care for your pet!

“I was referred to Dr. Silverman by the hospital veterinarian because my dog had a complex break, and Dr. Silverman is the only board-certified specialist in El Paso and New Mexico. Like many people, I always read reviews before choosing a business especially when something as important as my pet’s life is on the line.

When I looked up Dr. Silverman, I saw mixed reviews. They weren’t the best, but they also weren’t the worst. I felt that if he were truly as bad as some reviews suggested, there would be far more negative feedback than there actually was. I was nervous, but I decided to trust my gut.

From the moment I made the appointment through checking on my dog after surgery, everyone has been incredibly kind and helpful. My consultation with Dr. Silverman was great he made me feel important, never rushed, and spent about an hour going over everything in detail. He explained his recommendations, discussed all our options, answered every question we had, and was very confident in what he was doing. I never had a bad feeling about him or the surgery; I genuinely felt at ease.

He also provided clear pricing information, showing us both the lower and higher ends of the cost depending on certain decisions, which I really appreciated. During and after the surgery, both Dr. Silverman and Desiree called to keep me updated on how my sweet boy was doing. The day after surgery, I received another follow-up call with an update.

Everyone I’ve met there has been nothing but kind and supportive. The staff truly seems happy, and I believe that says a lot about Dr. Silverman and how he treats his team. Desiree and Morgan at the front desk are always patient, willing to help, and happy to answer any questions.

I am very grateful that I chose Dr. Silverman and his staff to care for my sweet boy and that I didn’t let a few negative reviews sway me. I hope this review helps others who may be in the same position I was. My dogs are my life, and I expect nothing but the best for them and that’s exactly what I feel we received here. ??“

Dr. Davila is professional and personable, I lived in the 79925 area for all my life now due to moving travel out of my way to come here. I have been to East animal hospital and Eastwood animal clinic and the service here is by far the best and the vet clearly cares about his clients and animals. After very bad issues with getting prescriptions and my dogs medication filled even in house with Eastwood animal clinic I came here to McRae animal hospital. The vet sees my dog personally every time, has come up to me in the waiting room and shaken my hand. The establishment overall has exceeded my expectations and I’m glad to have found a vet who prioritizes client relationship over giving people the run around. “I have been taking my pets here since 2013, I love it here I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and they have all been well attended by both Dr. Gibson and Dr. Sammy Gibson. I had to take my 16 year old shitzu yesterday and today because he had a decline in health. And their team were compassionate, understanding and helped me feel at ease. They made my baby feel comfortable and better he is an elderly dog and there's only so much that can be done, they were honest with me gave me options to try and kept searching for a better solution for his well being.
